Introduction
These terms apply to Shopkeeper partners who list products, accept orders, fulfill shipments, handle returns, receive settlements, or use seller workflows on Pooja Saathi.
Independent seller status
Shopkeeper partners are independent sellers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Pooja Saathi unless a separate written arrangement says otherwise.
Eligibility and documents
Shopkeepers must provide accurate identity, address, contact, bank/payout, tax, license, and business details where applicable.
GST, FSSAI, PAN, and licenses
GST, FSSAI, PAN, trade license, or other documents may be required depending on product category, law, and platform review.
Product listing responsibility
Shopkeepers are responsible for accurate product title, description, images, price, stock, variants, expiry, ingredients, declarations, and restrictions.
Pricing and stock accuracy
Prices, discounts, availability, taxes, delivery feasibility, and stock should be kept current. Orders may be cancelled or reviewed for listing errors.
Packing and fulfillment
Shopkeepers must pack items safely, hygienically where relevant, and hand over shipments within operational timelines.
Customer data confidentiality
Customer name, phone, address, order details, and complaint information must be used only to fulfill the order and related support.
Returns and refunds cooperation
Shopkeepers must cooperate with return, replacement, damage, missing item, wrong item, refund, and complaint investigations.
Payments and settlements
Settlement depends on delivered status, return window, refund state, COD reconciliation, complaint state, deductions, and applicable payout cycle.
Prohibited products
Shopkeepers must not list unlawful, unsafe, misleading, counterfeit, restricted, expired, mislabelled, or prohibited products.
Prohibited conduct
Manipulated listings, fake stock, off-platform payment requests, abusive communication, data misuse, and refusal to cooperate with valid support review are not permitted.
Taxes and compliance
Shopkeepers are responsible for their own tax, invoice, product declaration, packaging, license, and compliance obligations where applicable.
Suspension and deactivation
Pooja Saathi may restrict listings, hold settlement, suspend, or deactivate seller access for quality issues, fraud, complaints, legal risk, or policy breach.
